Another Thing That Should Be Retired

I just realized another one:



1) The term "Metrosexual."



I just read this article dealing with the term.



I first heard the term on Queer Eye For the Straight Guy, which in it's first season I thought was a pretty good show, but it got old very quickly. How many times can it be interesting to watch a gross guy get changed into a clean and stylish man. It's great what they're doing for these men, but watching gets tiresome.



Anyway, the term was actually coined in 1994, but has only really caught fire in the last two years or so. I have to admit that it is just an annoying term and it's use should be prohibited from this point forward.



I do not on the other hand have a problem with what the term represents.
