A Long Shear of Light and Then a Series of Low Concussions

I read a good bit these days, and often enjoy the books that I read. I don't always feel compelled to recommend them when I'm done. Tonight I finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and I recommend it now.

Maybe it's just because I'm on a hardcore post-apocalyptic and bleak reading kick right now (lots of zombie books and other books about the end of the world like The Walking Dead, I Am Legend, Rant, etc.), but I really enjoyed it.
