Earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal published an excellent article on the financial crisis and how it affects the average person.

This is what I've struggled with through the breaking news of this crisis. I knew it was a crisis because everyone kept telling me that it was, and I knew that we may be heading into a recession or a depression and I know how THOSE things affect me, but I never saw the correlation of the the financial market crisis and its direct relationship to my life.
