Let's Embarrass Ourselves Together

One of the more common conversations that I have with friends is about some of the embarrassing concerts we've been to.

For me, there have been a lot of bands I wish I hadn't had to sit through, but most of them I only saw because I had to sit through them to see the good band I paid to see. For instance, Gomez and Robbers on High Street were awful but I sat through them to see Cake, which was so totally worth it. Cake totally rocked it. I only saw the Brian Setzer Orchestra in order to see Bob Dylan, but that turned out to be a pretty great show.

Of all the concerts I've been to, the most embarrassing has to be the Matchbox Twenty / Train show. I went to that because I was working at The Sound Shop in Lafayette at the time and I got free tickets and had nothing to do that night. Even then I still shouldn't have gone. Oh well. Other than that, some of the shows maybe should be embarrassing, like Vanilla Ice at the Keg for example, but that was way after he was popular so attending the show in the first place was kind of a joke (it was also awesome!)

What concerts have you guys been to that you are a little embarrassed about now? MC Hammer? Milli Vanilli? Wham? Spill it. It'll be fun!
