Hundreds if G.I. Joe action figures are falling from a downtown New Orleanshotel today.

Organizers of the tenth annual G.I. Joe Collectors Convention say they are dropping more than 300 Joes from the top of the 17-story Lowes Hotel. The figures have working parachutes.

It marks the beginning of the gathering which runs through the weekend.
