Literary Quickie

I don't have much time but I wanted to share this with everyone because it's so cool.

For years my Mom has been really into genealogy as a hobby. Yesterday she tells me that through Ancestry.com she discovered that I am related to Jack Kerouac.

Check out our family tree to get from my Dad to Jack Kerouac.

My Dad is "Living Sonnier" and it goes up from him nine generations to Jean Hebert, who is my Dad's 7th Great Grandfather. Jean Hebert is also Jack Kerouac's 7th Great Grandfather.

Is that not some of the coolest shit you've ever heard?
