How apropos that today Scott and I should both leave work early to go to the movie theater to watch Clerks II, the follow up to the 1994 king of slacker, pop culture-vulture flicks.

To anyone who loved the original Clerks, the Clerks animated series, or any and all other contibutions to the View Askewniverse, I recommend this movie. The reviews are right. Clerks II is not simply a rehash of the old jokes told one more time to make a few bucks. Kevin Smith has crafted a great sequel and continuation of the stories of Dante Hicks, Randall Graves, and Jay and Silent Bob. I loved it.

Now we must wonder what comes next?
