Mon Oncle

Lindsey and I are now officially an aunt and uncle, respectively. Lindsey's brother's wife gave birth to Dominic Allen Heins last night. He was born at 1:38am, and weighed in at 7lbs 2 oz and was 20 and ¾ in long.



Apparently, he was born with sharp little fingernails, and scratched his face a little. That is what the redness on the right side of his face is. Otherwise both mother and child are happy and healthy and doing well. I hear he is calm and content, and has not cried much at all since the delivery.
