Progress

This is a list of projects that Lindsey, her parents and I had to tackle between Friday afternoon and Monday night.

- Pack and move all belongings from apartment to house (still not totally done)

- Paint living/dining room

- Paint kitchen

- Paint guest bathroom

- Paint master bathroom (not done)

- Cut the grass and remove various debris from the yard (the grass was at least two feet tall.)

- Install double closet rods in two closets (this included cutting steel rods to fit the closets, and mounting brackets to hang them.)

- Hook up gas clothes dryer (this was a complete pain)

- Call Roto-Rooter to snake the pipes (on Monday night all of our sinks, toilets and tubs began backing up with sewerage. Welcome to home ownership!)

- Call telephone company to have service transferred

- Call utility company to have service transferred

- Call sewerage and water board to have service transferred

- Call cable company to have service transferred (not done)

- Install blinds and shades on all windows so that the neighbors are robbed of seeing me walk around scantily clad (I know it's not fair, but I'm shy)

All of these things required:

4 trips to Ace Hardware

2 trips to Wal-Mart

...And the list continues to grow.
