The Ones That Got Away

I actually did really well with seeing the nominated movies this year.



I'm pissed that I didn't get to see any of the foriegn films nominated. Just another indicator that something is wrong with the set-up in New Orleans. They just didn't screen them here.



In the nine or ten major categories, there are only six movies I didn't see this year, and I'm going to try to catch those before the Academy Awards.



(1)Million Dollar Baby and (2)Being Julia aren't my fault since they haven't screened here. (3)Vera Drake was only here for a week. I'm going to see (4)Hotel Rwanda on Wednesday, and I didn't really want to see (5)Shark Tale. I didn't watch (6)The Motorcycle Diaries even though it was here for a long time. I think that's because I read some article blasting the movie for glorifying a communist, and I kind of agreed with what the guy was saying, although I will watch it eventually.
