A Small Post

I don't mean to get all X-Files here because this isn't something that I spend much time dwelling on, but this thought has occurred to me a few times and it is bugging me.



Does anyone else think that it might be just a little pretentious of us humans as a race to assume that in ALL of the universe there is absolutely no way that aliens exist.



I mean as big as the universe is (a big that I can't even begin to understand) what are the odds that we are the only ones. Pretty slim I think.



I already feel like such a nerd.
